Many adults think that blogging isn't safe and kids shouldn't be able to do it. I think that blogging is completely and totally safe. Well, it is if you follow these rules:
1.Don't give out any where that you hang out
2.Don't give out your address
3.Don't give out your school
4.Don't give out your city, state, or country
5.DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR FULL NAME!!! (Only your first name)
You may think that blogging still isn't safe...
But maybe... Just maybe... I convinced you to let your children blog just like me!!!

Of course children should be able to blog! It *Is* up to the adults around you to be sure that you are safe. Your rules are very good, and should help with maintaining your safety.
My son and some other children have a writing wiki. They enjoy writing and didn't always like it when they spent a lot of time on a piece and the teacher looked at it and handed it back. So now they post their favorite stories and read each others' work. Most of them have never met face-to-face.
